My Journey
I have always had a passion for helping people and that is why I trained as a nurse. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in frontline nursing in a variety of roles from ward nursing to more autonomous nursing roles. I quickly became experienced with life threatening emergencies and responding to critically ill patients across the hospital.
I became one of the youngest senior nurses in the UK through determination, hard work and resilience. This meant being in charge of several departments including wards caring for patients following major surgery. I was awarded Employee Of The Year for my assertive leadership in the NHS during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I was a finalist for the English Veterans Award.
I broadened my skillset within senior nursing management and went into a quality and improvement role, implementing a National Framework. This position gave me the experience to initiate and embed change within a large organisation through coaching clinicians, developing Standard Operating Procedures and policies and reporting themes from qualitative analysis to the Board. It was also a unique role which also allowed me the opportunity to counsel and feedback clinical information to bereaved families when a loved one had died.
Since relocating to Hong Kong, I have furthered my skillset by completing certificates in Health and Nutrition and Counselling. These courses gave me the inspiration to create a unique and holistic service for both individuals and professionals.
I have therefore combined my nursing skills with my counselling and coaching experience to offer a distinct approach to helping others improve their work-life balance, communication, productivity and overall well-being and that is how I created
